This is a 1 Pole Diesel Engine Oil Pressure Sensor

This is for a 1 Pole Diesel Engine Oil Pressure Sensor. This part can often be called an oil level sensor, oil pressure switch, or oil sensor. This part is a safety switch that reads the amount of oil that is inside the engine. If there is not enough oil in the engine this sensor will stop the engine from working. This is a 1 pole sensor. There are 1 pole and 2 pole so make sure you need this style.

When this part goes out it will break the electrical circuit. With the circuit broken the engine will not stay running. It is always best to first check the engine oil level, the engine may just be low on oil. If you susptect this part to be bad you can bypass this sensor and try to run your engine. If the engine then runs fine then this sensor is most likely the issue.

This sensor is usually located towards the bottom of the main casing of your small diesel engine.
