This is an Engine AVR Voltage Regulator
This is a universal type engine voltage regulator. This voltage regulator mounts on the side of the engine rather than off the head. This is part of your 12v charging system and is often called a rectifier.
This regulator has 2 plugs, 1 double wire and 1 single wire. The regulator has 2 holes that are used for mounting and usually mounts on the side of the engine.
If your generator isn’t charging your battery this is the most common issue. Also, if your generator isn’t producing power after changing your other AVR then this may be the issue. If you are not producing power or not the correct power then you may need a new Dynamo Assembly. There are other steps to be taken before changing the Dynamo. This AVR may look different than the one you current have. The one that you have may or may not have an inline fuse. They will be the same part and work just the same. The inline fuse is not required for functionality.
