This is for 2 Generator Diodes This is for a pair of generator diodes. The most common diode used in any generator is this 4 blade type. This will replace any diode that looks like this and is rated up to 50A.
These diodes serve as a way to protect and connect the electrical system. They are most commonly found behind the control panel. The components of the panel connect to these didoes. If you lose power or function to part of your generator this may be one of the issues. Many times when a diode goes bad it will blow so usually you can easily visually verify if a diode is bad.
